The bolded words in this post are taken from an LA Times article.  The author of this post would like to point out that he has never attended any kind of Tea Party rally, does not belong to the Tea Party, is all for gay marriage, legal immigration and loves baseball.  He's also really nice when he's sober.

Tea party activists have unwittingly become "pawns" to corporate interests who want to undermine the government, former President Bill Clinton said Thursday.

Wow, a former politician and President of the United States just referred to an influential grassroots movement as pawns for corporatism.  This is the American Government brought to you by Monsanto, Goldman Sachs and Halliburton he's talking about.  Fuck the heck is going on in this country?

"They think the little guy gets the shaft, and that's largely been true. But they are pawns in a larger game," Clinton said. "[The Boston tea party] was a protest against abuse of government power. The people that are funding this tea party are trying to weaken the government at a moment where people are queasy about the government because there was nobody else to step in when the economy was flat, so they can have unaccountable private power."

The people funding the Tea Party are trying to ruin America.  The people giving your money to rich bankers, starting false wars, maintaining false wars, limiting your freedoms, inflating your money and limiting free enterprise, they're actually the ones looking out for America.  Oh, and a President who had the power to start war without congress is super scared of the unaccountable power of the Tea Party?  Is this some kind of joke?  I mean how dumb do they really think we are?

"I don't believe in talking down to people and I don't believe in bumper stickers," he said on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart." "What the American people crave more than anything else is somebody just explaining things and talking sense to them and saying here is how we're going to get out of this mess."

No, no no no no no no no, you fucking douchebag.  The American people are sick and tired of you "explaining" stuff to us like we're a bunch of goddamn feeble minds.  We don't want your goddamn explanations and speeches.  We want you to LISTEN TO US.  YOUR JOB IS TO WORK FOR US.  YOU DO WHAT WE SAY AND NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND YOU GODDAMN ARROGANT FUCKS!!!!!

Sorry, I'm just really sick of being talked down to by a bunch of assholes who've never worked a day in their fucking lives.

The Clinton Global Initiative, now in its sixth year, kicks off Monday in New York to coincide with the annual United Nations General Assembly. First Lady Michelle Obama will speak at the closing plenary session next week.

Member of the Clinton Global Initiative:

Lloyd C. Blankfein, Chairman and CEO of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

Clinton says that since its founding in 2005, CGO members have made more than 1,700 commitments valued at $57 billion, improving the lives of 220 million people in more than 170 countries.

Other members of the Clinton Global Initiative:

James Dimon, Chairman and CEO of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.

Rex W. Tillerson, Chairman and CEO of ExxonMobil

Jalal Talabani, State President of the Republic of Iraq

Look, I really don't care what your politics are, I really don't.   But please understand that part of what it means to be American is to be free, not at the mercy of the tinkering of a bunch of overeducated assholes who think they know more about your life than you do.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to meditate, mastrubate and then down grain alcohol by the jug.

Fucking A.
