404 Monkey Business

I love coming across quirky, unexpected things on the internet. Especially if they're humorous. Tonight, as I do every night and day (probably way too often...yeah, total overkill), I clicked on my Bloglines notifier to see what's new in blogland, and the page just hung up trying to load the first feed I clicked on. Fearing the internet might have become obsolete overnight, I immediately went into panic mode. Nothing seemed to alleviate the problem, not even one of those little air spray cans you shoot at your keyboard, stirring up a year's worth of dust, hair, and fingernails. So, I did what anyone else in a similar desperate situation (read: homeless men) would do, and masturbated furiously three times in a row. That seemed to calm me down temporarily.

When I returned to the computer (who are we kidding, its called internet porn), I tried clicking on another feed, this time rubbing my lucky "rabbit's foot" at the same time. Voila! A page CAME up! And I immediately broke out into a fit of laughter:

I guess it was just the fact that I didn't expect anything of the sort from BLOGLINES, a freaking RSS FEED READER. Those are the kind of nerdy, pocket-protector-run websites you expect to receive some sort of generic technical excuse in morse code that translates to: "BRB...Dungeons & Dragons."

Of course, it still doesn't stack up to a PIC Page Not Found, but hey, we can't all be crazy monkeys, right?
