We went to a “tapas bar” tonight. I always thought tapas were a specific kind of food, specifically a cross between a burrito and a Mexican pizza from Taco Bell. Turns out it's just a name for a genre of appetizer-like munchables served in small portions. Actually, I just looked up the word and it says:

ta·pa2 ( P ) Pronunciation Key (täpä)n. pl. ta·pas (-päs, -päz)
Any of various small, savory Spanish dishes, often served as a snack or with other tapas as a meal.

This place definitely wasn't limited to Spanish stuff (that's like the same as Mexican right?).

More on tapas: every time someone says we're going to a tapas bar I get excited because I think they're saying a topless bar. Then the first minute of excitement turns to confusion, and eventually culminates in a moment of anti-climax that makes the original bar sound so lame we can't even go anymore.

More on topless: what's with more and more girls getting breast implants as if there's a sort of natural stage in life when they have to face this decision with the utmost seriousness? Am I the only male who's not a fan of fake breasts, even if they appear somewhat natural?

More on tops: I hate those summery shirts girls wear where the seam is right below the breasts, and then it's kind of wavy/flowy below that. Please, let's reserve maternity wear for the future single moms of America.

More on less: less isn't always more…more or less.
