Radu Guiasu is a biologist, professor, and author. His published work includes peer-reviewed scientific articles, science-related articles for a general audience, and two academic biology books. Details of his scientific work can be found on his Research Gate page online. He has also written mainly satirical fiction - first in Romanian and then in English - for most of his life. A few of his short works of fiction have been published in The Feathertale Review - an award-winning Canadian literary magazine specializing in humor. His first novel, titled "The Faraway Mountains", was published on November 7, 2023 and can be ordered on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Indigo Books and several other online bookstore sites, as well as directly from the publisher, Histria Books.
