Ron Paul is Core
Posted May 18th, 2007 by Nathan DeGraaf
There's this dude trying to get nominated for President of the United States. He had the audacity to state that bad American foreign policy helped cause 9/11. He's accused President Bush of using his presidency to make his elite friends richer. And, as a result of his blatant stating of the ridiculously obvious, the Michigan GOP is trying to ban him from participating in any more debates.
This guy's name is Ron Paul. And he is a Republican.
Now, when I say that Ron Paul is a Republican, I do not mean that he is some rich, elitist asshole with no respect for freedom or individualism. When I call Ron Paul a Republican, I also do not mean that he is a conservative Christian bent on forcing his beliefs on others. No, Ron Paul is what I would call a fundamental Republican. This means that he is against taxes and public aide and would like every American to have the freedom to get rich.
In short, Ron Paul's a good guy.
Which means he doesn't have a chance in hell of getting nominated.
But let's ignore that truism for a second and go back to a point I linked to in the first paragraph.
The Republican party is trying to ban Ron Paul from speaking at the Michigan debates.
For dramatic effect, I'm stating this another way.
The Republican party does not think that free speech is a good idea. Which means they are all a bunch of elitist asshole pricks who are more interested in protecting their wealth and power than they are in helping America.
Except for Ron Paul.
Now, The Nate Way doesn't endorse much stuff. Besides blowjobs, steak, Tag body spray, alcohol, Cottenelle toilet paper and the George Foreman Grill, The Nate Way has never endorsed anything or anyone for any reason.
But, The Nate Way is firmly endorsing Ron Paul for President of the United States. America needs someone who doesn't like how its citizens are currently getting fucked (read: in every orifice with rusty chain saws). And Ron Paul is that man.
So, if by some stroke of amazing luck, Ron Paul actually ends up on a ballot that you're allowed to write on, check the box next to his name.
And if you won't do it for me, do it for freedom.
And if you won't do it for freedom, do it so we'll have a President with two first names again.

Sorry DeGraaf, but if Ron Paul is against taxes, he's a fucking moron.
Tax and then spend! Tax and then spend!
-Democrat, out
I feel a little like a heroine addict who was cut off cold-turkey (what does that mean anyways?), recovered after all the violent withdrawals, and then given a needle again. I know I'll give in, but there is that moment of hesitation where I wonder if its worth it.
wow, i haven't been following presedential elections since the travesty of 2000, and i never even voted because i don't believe in voting for the lesser of two evils.
After reading what you had to say about Ron Paul, i started doing my own research on his policies, and i have finally found a canidate who i am willing to get up off my ass and vote for.
At first i was gonna vote for guilianni cuz he was a good mayor, but now i see his knowledge in foreign policy is lacking...
RON PAUL FOR PRESIDENT FOR 2008
i really have to thank you nate for opening my eyes, i had no idea we actually had an intelligent, well grounded, down-to-earth canidate for president. One who knows the truth and isnt afraid of to let the people know, no matter what it might mean. Booya!!
the problem is, since he's smart and honest, he probably wont get elected. Sometimes im ashamed to be an american. Actually, lately i have found that ive been ashamed for a long time...
wow martin you are a retard... if you don't vote then don't complain. plain and simple. i'm glad i put my life on the line everyday to give you a freedom that you take so lightly. makes me feel really good. jackass.
nate... keep up the good work. from what i understand so far ron paul is against taxes as they are now and in favor of something called the fair tax where you pay taxes on what you buy. the more you buy the more you pay sorta deal. makes sense i guess.
Anonymous must work for the CIA. No U.S. Serviceman would be such a pussy as to post as anonymous. ;)
and he obviously missed the point i was makin
"the more you buy the more you pay..."
Isn't that called sales tax?
You had me at "against taxes and public aide".
Anyone who says otherwise (Nicholas) is a Communist.
But I'll still vote for Romney (probably).
(parentheses).
