Every Rollercoaster Line is Lying to You
The designers of rollercoaster lines want you to be goal-oriented, but they don't want that goal to be getting to the ride, just getting to new parts of the line.
I am a professional storyteller/humorist. I do about 180 shows a year at festivals, schools, business events, and such. My debut children's picture book, The King of Little Things, won the 2014 PEN Award for kid's books, and was a Starred Kirkus Review. My essays and humor writings have been published in Funny Times on several occasions (including the current March edition) and I publish sort of regularly in the WV Charleston Gazette. I have fifteen audio collections of my funny stories, which have won awards from Parents Choice, NAPPA, Public Librarian's Assoc., and other hoopla.
