Lisa Rosenberg is a poet, essayist, and former space program engineer trained as a physicist—all disciplines that can fuel irony and multiple perspectives. She is the author of A Different Physics (2018), and Weeds and Stars (Spring 2026). A former regional Poet Laureate in California, her work has been recognized by a Djerassi Residency, Wallace Stegner Fellowship, and MOSAIC America Fellowship. Her writing appears widely in journals and anthologies, including Plume, POETRY, The Threepenny Review, Terrain, Slackjaw, The Satirist, and California Fire & Water: a Climate Crisis Anthology.
