Regarding comedy, I am a devoted fan and student of my earliest, deepest influences: The Three Stooges, Laurel and Hardy, Mad Magazine, Jerry Lewis, all things Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner, Woody Allen, Albert Brooks, to Seinfeld and Larry David. I wrote satirical news articles for a local (Springfield, MO) advertising paper, "Fair City News", and enjoyed the opportunity to satirize the thoroughly Midwestern community in which I have chosen to live. I'm ardently anti-censorship, and know how not to read or watch that which might torque me off.
