Gretchen Cion is a multi-genre writer and filmmaker with an MFA from SFSU. Her essays have appeared in The Brevity Blog, Sky Island Journal, and Transfer Magazine. Her short film, "Full Crow," was a Semifinalist at the Boden International Film Festival. Gretchen is an Erma Bombeck Humorist-in-Residence for 2026. She teaches at Berkeley City College.
