Alison Cupp Relyea is a museum program director and freelance writer living in Rye, NY with her husband and three young children. She writes about history, arts, and culture for the Rye Record in addition to her own creative projects. Alison recently published an essay collection, "Soundtrack: Liner Notes from a Pandemic Mixtape." She uses writing as a way to connect with others, exploring topics in family, culture, politics, history and everyday life, always with a thread of humor. Comedy was a big part of Alison's family when she was growing up, and she brings it into her family now as a parent because if we can't laugh, we'll cry.
