I'm not going to sugarcoat it. I miss reading a weird French blogger who used to post. I felt like we had a real connection...
Anyway, one of my favorite social experiments is posting weird stuff on craigslist and seeing how many serious responses I get. A copy of a recent missed connection I posted (If anybody cares, I'll let y'all know what kind of responses I get):
You: Shy, but sexy, wearing a dark overcoat and iPod headphones. Shoulder-length brown hair (do you highlight it?) and a black purse slung casually over your left shoulder. Pretty sure you were wearing contacts. I started to talk to you, but I guess you didn't hear me.
Me: Slightly disheveled. Wearing a suit jacket, sweatpants, and a medium I <3 NY t-shirt (in pink). Dark hair, containing bits of food and gum. Masculine musk. When I asked you for change, you walked by.
I wanted the change to take you out for coffee :)*
*We would have to share a small. How romantic!
So, lady, if you're interested in a tramp, give me a call! I don't have a cell phone, or a house phone (or a house), but I generally hang around Grand Central station. Just call all of the payphones around there.
Or you could just drop by!
