As I write this, I am currently logged in with my new PIC neat log on thingy. I think. I don't get computers. And I don’t like change.

Look, at the risk of sounding crotchety and old, I don’t like PIC Version 2.0. Oh sure, it looks all smooth and neat and crisp and clean. I mean, I could see why you would just want to roll yourself up in it, kick up the air conditioning and spend all day in here. It looks nice. But I have some problems. And because PIC Fearless Editor and Owner/Operator Court Sullivan is about fried from all the work it took to make this happen, I am listing my complaints here on Nathan DeGraaf’s Blog.

First, this is not Nathan DeGraaf’s blog. I mean, it is Nathan DeGraaf’s blog, but that blog had a title based on an old column I wrote that summarized my personal viewpoints on day to day interactions. There are ways to do things. And one of those ways is The Nate Way. I want my fucking title back and I want it now.

Second, there is no spell-check in the new blog-thing that replaced blogger. I need spell-check. I literally live and die by it and I flat out refuse to regain the fundamentals it takes to spell words correctly. That’s just more work than I’m prepared to do.

Third, whose idea was it to make the sponsors, ad links, and front page pictures larger while making all us columnists smaller? Look at us over on the big site. We look so minuscule and unimportant. My ego can’t take that crap.

Fourth, we now have members. I don’t have any idea what those members are gonna do or how they’re gonna interact or what a PIC account even does for you, but whatever it does, rest assured you cannot have my pudding pops. No matter how high up the PIC member ladder echelon gimmick you move. I hope we’re clear on this.

Fifth, scroll down to the bottom of this thing. Go all the way. Kinda messy down there ain’t it?

Sixth, where the hell are my personal archives and my favorite blog pieces?

Look, I know in the long run, this will be a great improvement from the old website. It takes time to transition all the stuff while still doing all the writing and what not, but well, I feel like I’m getting short-changed here. I really hope it improves but right now, well I don’t like it.

Don’t like it one bit.

Bring back the older, uglier, clunkier site, Court. That’s where dinosaurs like me belong anyway.
