Non-Essay Questions
If you're in university, you're probably finishing up finals and getting ready to go home. If you're not, and I'm entertaining you during your boring workday, you're probably just slacking off until your weekend -- as usual. Well, here are some easy questions that won't factor into your final grade or annual performance report...
1. What do you like the most about going home for the holidays? The least?
2. Can you suggest any good books? Music? Movies?
3. Obligatory sex question: Ahhh, my one regret from attending three universities: never sexing in the stacks. Have you ever banged in a library? If so, how awesome was it? If not, have you banged in a cool public place. If so, how awesome was it?

1. I'm a giant douchebag loser who moved out for four years, then moved back home. But not due to something cool, like a broken neck. Anyway, I'm home all the time. So it's nice when other people come in for the holidays.
2. Christmas time reminds me of my dad forcing the family to watch John Wayne movies....
3. No sex in the stacks para mi. I guess the most public place I've ever done it is in a parked car in a parking lot. Giving blowjobs in the car on the interstate is super fun for me though.
1. Most: seeing people, NYE.
Least: Cold.
2. Cormac McCarthy, Augusten Burroughs, Slumdog Millionaire, Adele, Porn. Lots of porn.
3. No stacked sex for me either, but I did give head in a movie theater once. That was pretty cool.
1. I grew up in Miami and I still live there, so the holidays are the only time I get to see my best friends, even if my vision is slightly blurred.
2. The best books I read this year are Empire Falls, Walking on Water, A Conspiracy of Dunces, and A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius.
3. I tried the library thing in college, but I lost the battle against discretion that day. Sadly, my 9-5 has made even daytime sex a forgotten luxury. And girls who give road head are awesome. I totally respect them for their minds.
1. The most, not having to drive in the snow and catching up with old friends. The least, creepy uncle Bruce who likes to talk about how hot my mom was and how much I look like her.
2. Can't help you, haven't seen any new movies lately, and been on a Stephen King kick for the last few months.
3. No library sex... yet. Don't know if it's cool or creepy - the most public place was the parking lot of my friend's church during services. Damn good!
And thanks, Galt. A girl loves to be appreciated for her mind.
1. Good: No school, friends are back, and no one badgers me when I drink to much cause all the inlaws are in town.
Bad: Laughing uncontrollably when my grandpa tells my dad that mother should have aborted.
2. Like Erin, I have been destorying Stephen King's Dark Tower series. Its by far the most entertaining thing I've ever read. Go buy them!
3. No sex in the stacks either, but I have had sex in Creighton U's main fountain. It was far to cold but running from campus security with a raging hard-on made it worth every cold wet minute.
1. The most: besides seeing my family, I'd say getting together with old high school buddies and getting wasted at the same old watering holes - only years later.
The least: not having my bed. I've never slept on anything as comfortable, and to this day I don't know whether it's because you just get used to it or because my bed rules.
2. Music: I just learned about the radio station Pandora.com and it's changed my life.
3. Never banged in a library. But i used to try to see how many library stalls i could deface on my own. Most public, probably on the pier at a beach, at night.
1. Most: Getting home and spending time with my family and old friends. Having no responsibilities for a few weeks will become a thing of the past next year, so I'm going to enjoy it as much as possible.
Least: Driving back to Brookings. When you see it every day it just loses its appeal. About 2 hours into the 4 hour trip I usually either let out of heavy sigh or some other form of audible angst.
2. Unless you like nursing textbooks, I can't offer any opinions on what you should read. As for movies, I saw "Australia" over Thanksgiving. It wasn't bad. Hugh Jackman isn't Wolverine, so that might be an issue for you KC.
3. The best public story I have is an attempt at having sex while driving down the road. Everything was working fine until her ass started honking the horn. I lost all concentration after that.
1. Family and my dog. Nothing else is even close.
2. Music? Dirty Heads and Stone Gods- I'm hooked on them!
3. Not in a library, only outside a police station. Public places have never interested me.
freeman, i must say i've been enjoying your writings while killing valuable time at my day job.
1. most: this year, snowboarding
least: working, not getting to go home to family
2. knowing your penchant for metal, i'd have to recommend Parkway Drive, ozzies that rock hard. TV: The Wire is awesome. I still have to finish the series.
3. gf and i did it on flagstaff mountain, overlooking boulder. it was pretty sweet except i was scared shitless. to this day i swear i saw a mountain lion walk by, observe us bumping uglies, think about viciously mauling, then run away.
1a. Seeing my dog, he lived me last year but had to live at home this year
1b. Napping at least twice a day
2. Watch Testees on FX, it might be top 3 funniest shows I have ever watched
3. No cool public spots, but does doing it on each of my roommates beds and desks before they moved in this year count?
1. What do you like the most about going home for the holidays?-The food! And around Christmas, the way I can always count on my mom to be blasting Christmas music and lighting apple candles.
The least?- The fighting. If I am home longer than two days, my mom and I will eventually get into a knock-down, drag-out war.
2. Can you suggest any good books? You Suck by Christopher Moore. Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace. Thief of Time by Terry Pratchett
Music? Motion City Soundtrack. Ben Folds Five. Punk Goes Pop 1, 2, 3.
Movies? City of Angels, Moonstruck, Hamlet 2
3. Obligatory sex question:Have you ever banged in a library? If so, how awesome was it? If not, have you banged in a cool public place. If so, how awesome was it?
No library, but my high school auditorium. The sex wasn't great but the fear of getting caught was. Oh, and my dorm's study room. It wasn't good, mostly because I was drunk and threw up in the fake plant.
